Todd A. Ponzio

Todd A. Ponzio is the associate vice president of Wake Forest Innovations. He holds positions in the Wake Forest University School of Medicine Department of Internal Medicine-Infectious Diseases and the Department of Implementation Science. Prior to joining Wake Forest, he led the Office of Partnerships & Business Development at

the US Naval Medical Research Center, where he oversaw approximately one-third of the Navy’s technology transfer portfolio. He holds a PhD in neuroscience from the University of California, Riverside, and his research interests include studying the practical aspects of both vaccine product development as well as innovation management policy.
